Stroke and Turn Clinics
Mondays

6 sessions (1 session per week)
1 hour & 15 minutes per session
June 6 - July 18 (no clinic July 4)
$95 per swimmer for 6 sessions
Sign up through SWIMTOPIA
10 minimum and 20 maximum spots available for ALL members (this is not a swim lesson). These clinics will break down all 4 strokes, starts, turns and finishes. Swimmer is required basic abililty in each stroke (free, back, fly, breast). Two coaches on hand and in the water.

Joy Curry
Joy Curry will be our new swim team coach this summer! She plans to focus on instructing stroke basics for beginners and technique efficiency to advanced swimmers. For most of her life, Jo has either trained in the pool or coached swimming –
From the age of four through her high school years, Jo competed with various recreational and USA swim clubs in California and Texas. During her collegiate years at SFASU, Jo lettered in volleyball as an All-American with the Ladyjacks, but she never strayed too far from the pool.
Jo taught swimming lessons since the age of 16 and has coached for over 25 years for all levels of swimmers. She holds a doctorate degree in nutrition and exercise physiology and currently teaches college at Red Rocks Community College and Colorado Christian University. She enjoys gardening, yoga, outdoor sports and spending time with family and friends.
She is so excited to get started and be a part of the Bear Creek Community.

Lesson Registration Information
$45 per session
1. A $45 fee will be charged for each session taken. Payment for lessons can be made at the concession stand. Payments for lessons are due by the Sunday prior to the first day of each session.
2. Registration will open from the Wednesday through Sunday the week prior to the start date. Members can register anytime during normal club hours at the concession stand. Parents may only register for their immediate family.
3. For the proper lesson placement, parents should read the course description or call the club at 303.988.9808 and ask for a manager.
4. All lessons will be Monday through Thursday. If a lesson is canceled due to inclement weather, a make-up session may be scheduled on the following Friday or Saturday. Please call the pool office at 303.988.9808 prior to the lesson if you have questions regarding cancellation.
5. For advanced skilled swimmers, we encourage you to join the swim team. A child must be able to swim at least one length of the pool, using any stroke, without stopping, to be eligible for the swim team.
